The Position:
The Region 8 Field Coordinator is primarily responsible for the day-to-day coordination, management, advocacy and visibility of UNFPA’s 9th Country Programme (CP) implementation in Eastern Visayas. These functions include supporting the effective, efficient and timely implementation, monitoring, reporting, and communication of UNFPA interventions and results under the Joint Programme on Accelerating the Reduction of Adolescent Pregnancy (JPARAP) with special focus on the Provinces of Samar, Eastern Samar, and the engagement of regional-level stakeholders across the humanitarian-development continuum. The Region 8 Field Coordinator works hand in hand with the Sexual and Reproductive Health, Gender/GBV, Adolescent and Youth, Population and Development, Humanitarian, Partnerships and Advocacy, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Operations teams based in the Manila Office. S/he reports to the UNFPA Assistant Representative.
