The Position:
Background:
Based on successful implementation of the Country Program 202019-2023, several initiatives led by UNFPA have successfully addressed the mental health, psychosocial support, and gender-based violence challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 crisis. To ensure the sustainability of its impact, a consultant is sought to conduct a comprehensive sustainability assessment and support the CO in its way forward in implementation of its 9th Country Programme (2024-2028) based on the TOC developed.
Objectives:
The primary objective of this consultancy is to evaluate and enhance the sustainability of GBV/GEWE initiatives launched by the CO during the CP8. The consultant will assess the current state of project initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and develop actionable recommendations to fortify the long-term impact of the projects.
The consultant will report to and be supervised by the Gender/GBV National Programme Officer.
