Two months after Typhoon Odette tore through the Philippines, 98,097 women remain pregnant but have little to no access to obstetric services, 49,194 women have an unmet need for family planning, and 13,023 women and girl victims of sexual violence are seeking care. Much has been done on the ground to address this, but given the extent of damage left by the Typhoon, more is needed. You can help. Over USD $12 million is needed in the next five months to ensure that we continue reaching the millions of women and girls who need us most. Read UNFPA’s latest situation report, and donate.
