Tagbilaran City -- "THE problem is not with reproductive health bill but with our sexuality." Thus says Fr. Precy Bacani, a priest member of the religious group of the Missionaries for Jesus. Presenting a rare angle at how a man of the cloth sees the issue on reproductive health, Fr. Bacani, awed the crowd of mostly conservative Boholanos with a more progressive viewing of the issue that is still considered by many as taboo here. Fr. Bacani, one of the speakers on the aspect of faith in the issue on reproductive health stirred the crowd over the role of culture in one's value system. He also went on to agree with other speakers who presented different angles while elaborating on the topic and homed in on the real absence of a clear government population control policy as a problem that would bind people to poverty.
