UNFPA, with the support of its government, NGO and private sector partners, provided targeted response to the needs of pregnant and lactating women and young people affected by massive flooding caused by tropical storm Washi (Sendong) in December 2011. To this day, thousands of families remain in evacuation and relocation sites, and the humanitarian response continues.
