PASAY CITY, 11 September 2025 — The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in the Philippines is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Neus Bernabeu as its new Country Representative. She was formally welcomed by Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Assistant Secretary Maria Teresa Almojuela in Pasay City.

UNFPA is implementing its 9th Country Programme (2024–2028) with the Government of the Philippines to advance sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, women’s empowerment, prevention of gender-based violence, and youth development.
