The Cohort Study is a 15-year, nationwide study on 5,000 Filipino girls and boys, aged 10 years old, that aims to observe the changes they go through, the opportunities and challenges they face, as well as the kinds of choices they make.
Information on their vulnerabilities and needs will be collected through household and community surveys, focus group discussions and case studies to inform government policy making and programming on health, education and other key areas of human capital development.
